O’Keefe is pleased to announce Katie Gerdes has joined the firm as an Associate.

Prior to joining O’Keefe, Ms. Gerdes served as assistant controller for a $1 billion tier one auto-supplier. She began her career in public accounting as an auditor servicing privately held middle-market companies in various industries, including manufacturing, construction, financial services, and nonprofits.

Ms. Gerdes earned her Master of Science in Accounting from Michigan State University and her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, with honors, from Western Michigan University. Ms. Gerdes is licensed by the State of Michigan as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and is a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA) and the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA). She is also a member of the Detroit Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) and the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG).
