O’Keefe, a leading financial and strategic advisory firm specializing in enterprise consulting, litigation support, strategic advisory, and turnaround and restructuring is pleased to announce Patrick O’Keefe has been named the recipient of the TMA Detroit 2022 Lifetime Achievement Award.

This award celebrates the significant achievements of a TMA Detroit member’s career in the turnaround profession. The winner of this award is a TMA Detroit member with a long history of experience in the turnaround/restructuring industry as well as demonstrated service to the Detroit Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association.

For over 35 years, Mr. O’Keefe has been active as a financial consultant and turnaround advisor to under-performing businesses in various industries. Through his work, he has saved thousands of jobs and retained millions of dollars of owner equity in businesses that otherwise would have failed. As a result, Mr. O’Keefe was inducted into M&A Advisor’s Hall of Fame which recognized him for numerous deal excellence awards in turnarounds and reorganizations.

Mr. O’Keefe has been a TMA member for most of his career in the turnaround industry. He was a Detroit Chapter board member from 2001-2006, served as Chapter President in 2004-2006, and several years of service on the International Board. Mr. O’Keefe was part of the originating TMAssist team helping business owners recover from Hurricane Katrina and a member of the CTP Task Force guiding the merger with TMA. In 2009 he was honored at the national conference with the Outstanding Individual Contribution Award by Turnaround Management Association.

Patrick O’Keefe, and other 2022 award recipients, will be honored at an awards ceremony on May 3, 2023 at the Kingsley by Doubletree Hotel in Bloomfield Hills, MI.
